Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Deuce Golf Club by Montclair Sports LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use DeuceGC, our website, and related services.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide, including email address, name, and account profile fields.
- Product data you create in DeuceGC, including practice sessions, round history, schedules, preferences, equipment details, and coaching workflow records where enabled.
- Technical data such as browser type, device information, IP-derived region, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
- Approximate location or map-related inputs when you use map, course, weather, geocoding, or calendar features.
- Billing and subscription records from Stripe, such as customer id, subscription id, plan, invoice status, and renewal state. DeuceGC does not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications and feedback you send to us, including support requests, cancellation feedback, and beta-program responses.
How we use information
- To provide authentication, account access, product storage, practice history, scheduling, coaching workflows, and other app features.
- To process subscriptions, manage billing recovery, send receipts and transactional emails, and provide the Stripe customer portal.
- To secure the service, investigate bugs, detect abuse, and maintain reliability.
- To understand usage patterns, improve the product, evaluate adoption of features and workflows, and create aggregated or anonymized benchmark reporting.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Vendors and service providers
- Supabase processes authentication, database storage, and hosted backend functions.
- Stripe processes checkout, billing, invoices, renewals, and customer billing portal actions.
- PostHog processes product analytics and feature-flag evaluation.
- Sentry processes crash, performance, and session-replay diagnostics used for debugging.
- Mapbox processes map and location requests where map features are enabled.
- Resend processes transactional email delivery.
- Vercel hosts the application and related delivery infrastructure.
Analytics, diagnostics, and consent
- Essential authentication and session cookies are always on.
- PostHog analytics and Sentry diagnostics are controlled by the privacy preference flow shown in the app.
- In EEA-style consent regions, analytics and diagnostics stay off until you opt in.
- In supported US flows, analytics and diagnostics may run by default until you opt out.
- Opting out stops new collection going forward; some client-side changes may require a page reload.
Location and practice data safeguards
- DeuceGC is designed to avoid storing raw payment card data.
- Analytics events should not include free-form notes, email addresses, full names, precise GPS coordinates, or raw OAuth errors.
- Public geocoding and weather requests are rate limited and bounded to reduce abuse.
- Reverse-geocoding requests are quantized before provider lookup to reduce precision.
How we share information
- We do not sell personal information.
- We share information with service providers only as needed to deliver hosting, analytics, diagnostics, billing, maps, and communication services.
- We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
- Montclair Sports may use aggregated and anonymized data to improve products and create benchmark reporting. No personally identifiable information may be disclosed in benchmark reporting.
Retention
- We retain account and product records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
- Diagnostic and analytics retention may vary by vendor configuration.
- If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify data as our systems and legal obligations permit.
Your choices
- You can review billing status in Settings and manage renewals in the Stripe customer portal.
- You can manage analytics and diagnostics choices from `/privacy/preferences`.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting privacy@deucegc.com or hello@deucegc.com.
- You can read the deletion request instructions at /data-deletion.
